Open Heart Choir is the name of two mixed amateur choirs, one in Stockholm and the other in Uppsala. The choirs are led by Dana Hofford Roxendal.

The choirs sing all types of genres but the common denominator is the celebration of the open and free Heart. No prior choir experience is necessary and there are no auditions, the choirs are open for everyone. All emphasis is on the joy of singing. Different tips will be given now and then on how to improve your singing voice

All songs are taught by rote during the rehearsals. For those who would like to practice at home, there is written music as well as mp3 files on the choir website.

Each term starts with a free try-out evening with rehearsals starting the following week and ends with two concerts. (Read more about Open Heart Choir!)
